Excellent concert, good…very extra good !!!

    CONCERT EXCEPTIONNEL !!!!!

    Hi
Happy to hear Surfer Joe and Sedan Delivery… Very good show, better than the Paris’one in June from my point of due… A little disappointed cause I was hopping for “Everybody knows…”

Did anyone make good photos of the Vienne show ? I’d like to keep a souvenir…
    Thank you

And thank you to all of you guys for all the passion and work you put in this website…

I thought the gig was disappointing. I saw him a month before at the O2 in London which was far better. Having driven down from the UK specifically and then sat on stone steps for 3 hours I felt let down.

Started brilliantly but went downhill after the first few numbers – too much newer stuff and not enough old favourites. I monitored the audience participation for old versus new and the it appeared that most people agreed with me.

I’ve seen Neil many times both solo and with CH including at this venue about ten years ago. I think this is probably my last CH gig though.

it’s often so funny on the latest tours, that people expect Neil to play the age-old stuff, as if they wouldn’t know that he’s a constant Chameleon and does what he wants. Didn’t you check out the setlists of the whole Alchemy tour which is almost a year old now to know that of course he will play a lot of new stuff? Hey, they have a new album out there… And he played some old stuff and even changes the setlist a bit to accomodate wishes (which is new to him).

Why would one need “old favourites”? To get melancholic about the oh-so-personal gone youth? No more curiousity? Neil is apparently still young enough to live new stuff, or new interpretations of it, he’s constantly re-inventing himself, in particular if he plays with the Horse.

It might be the last tour with Crazy Horse, for reasons they explained in their interviews, so let them play what they want.
